PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (PT Vale)  merupakan perusahan tambang dan pengolahan nikel terintegrasi yang beroperasi di Blok Sorowako, Kabupaten Luwu Timur, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. PT Vale merupakan bagian dari Vale, perusahaan multitambang asal Brasil yang beroperasi di 30 negara dengan total pekerja dan kontraktor di seluruh unit bisnisnya mencapai 110.000 orang. PT Vale menambang nikel laterit untuk menghasilkan produk akhir berupa nikel dalam matte. Volume produksi nikel PT Vale rata-rata mencapai 75.000 metrik ton per tahunnya. Dalam memproduksi nikelnya di Blok Sorowako, PT Vale menggunakan teknologi pyrometalurgi atau teknik smelting (meleburkan bijih nikel laterit).

Dan kini pihak perusahaan telah membuka rekrutmen terbaru dengan ketentuan yang dibutuhkan adalah sebagai berikut.

1. Environment Engineer

Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and developing Environmental Management Systems for continuously improve environmental performance. This position is also responsible for identifying the results of environmental management system audits and providing and/or seeking technical assistance related to findings to ensure they are effectively handled.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
• Technical skills and knowledge in Environmental Management Systems and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
• ISO 14001 certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

2. Junior Hydrology Engineer

Supports water resource management, designs, and implements hydrological systems, and ensures compliance with environmental regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of hydrology in the context of mining, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams. This position will support projects related to hydrology, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, as well as hydrological modeling and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related fields.
• Strong knowledge of hydrological modeling tools and software.

3. Senior Coordinator Safety

Responsible for implementing health and safety standards through the PDCA cycle, driving cultural transformation, and developing health and safety procedures. This position is also responsible for managing incidents and ensuring that all responsible parties report and are fully processed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with project management experience.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in related fields.
• POP certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., KEPMEN ESDM 1827/2018, SMKP).
• Knowledge of change management processes (MOC).
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

4. Senior Coordinator Technical Permit JVCO

Responsible for managing permits related to development and construction before operations. This position will serve as the Line of Defense for PTVI in ensuring the application of good mining practices (GMP) PTVI, anti-corruption against ESG standards, obtaining permits on time, mitigating risks, and building cooperation among partner companies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry, Management, Law, or related fields.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in related fields.
• POP certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, technical processes, and relevant laws, including technical analysis in scientific processes for water quality, air emissions, and traffic management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong research and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

5. Project Engineer

Responsible for executing and ensuring the safe completion of the FPP Plant JV Pomalaa project in accordance with HSER, schedule, and budget, meeting the project’s planned objectives. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing data acquisition and initial work planning to ensure that the project is planned accurately and precisely.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Civil, Mining, or Environmental Engineering).
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in related fields.
• Familiarity with Project Schedule (Primavera) and WBS Structure.
• Skills in financial budgeting, report analysis, and technical planning documents.
• POP and IPP/IPM certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

6. Geologist Grade Control Model

Responsible for modeling ore and estimating mineral resource data to support growth and mine planning, creating Grade Control Models, and completing annual Mineral Resource and Reserve Reports (MRMR).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in nickel laterite and related activities.
• Technical skills and knowledge in geological modeling and mineral resource estimation.
• POP certification is preferred.
• Technical skills and knowledge of laboratory standards and QA/QC concepts.

7. Geologist Ore Quality System

Responsible for supporting the Ore Quality System team to ensure safety and sample QA/QC, and preparing samples for reliable, timely, and effective testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in nickel laterite and related activities.
• Technical skills and knowledge in operating geological software for data creation and instrument control.
• POP certification is preferred.
• Technical skills and knowledge of laboratory standards and QA/QC concepts.

8. Geophysics ERT

Responsible for managing the implementation and integration of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) applications to improve the quality of mineral resource block modeling and exploration results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics.
• Knowledge of ERT usage and analysis.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in nickel laterite and related activities.
• Technical skills and knowledge in operating geological software for data creation.
• Technical skills and knowledge in operating geophysical software.
• POP certification is preferred.

9. Senior Geologist Ore Quality System

Responsible for leading and managing the Ore Quality System team to ensure the safety of sample QA/QC activities during sample preparation. Develops, maintains, and updates data models, reporting systems, and automated data systems to ensure that testing results, water content, and QA/QC samples are valid, reliable, accurate, and reported on time, and stored in a secure database.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in nickel laterite and related activities.
• Technical skills and knowledge in operating geological software for data creation and instrument control.
• Technical skills and knowledge of laboratory standards and QA/QC concepts.
• Experience in budget creation.
• Experience in developing laboratory systems and sample preparation.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge in validation techniques.
